This is the only branching form of Cyphastrea, all other forms are encrusting. This coral is rare in the wild but is found in a range of habitats from lagoons to upper reef slopes. This coral is almost never seen in the UK and we believe that we are the first to farm it.
Usually a cream or brown colour this particular individual has pink/red coralite cups, the main body can be cream to metallic turquoise in colour (similar to Meteor Shower Cyphastrea).
Frags are around 3cm.
