Making a Purchase
Making a purchase couldn’t be easier. Just browse our website, select the products you wish to purchase and press the ‘Add to basket’ button. When you have finished shopping go to ‘Checkout’. Shipping costs are shown in the shopping cart and all major debit/credit cards are accepted. We offer two secure payments systems, Global payments/HSBC and Paypal, to give you the widest coverage of card types.

Delivery Information
We aim to dispatch all non-coral stock items within one working day of receiving a customers order. For coral deliveries we will send you an email with a proposed delivery date within one working day of us receiving your order. If you do not receive an email please contact us. Corals will not be dispatched until we have received confirmation from yourself that the proposed delivery date is acceptable to yourself. Customer delivery date confirmation must be received no later than 1pm the day before delivery. We know that fast delivery is important to you, we use commercial carriers and we rely on you to be available to accept courier deliveries. For coral deliveries we use an overnight courier service and for all other items we use either Royal Mail first class delivery or Royal mail recorded, 1st class delivery.

Delivery Charges
Delivery costs for corals is £12.95 for a pre 12 delivery (excludes some parts of UK). All other items are charged according to weight and the total shipping cost is shown in the shopping cart.

Stock Availability
All items shown on the website are usually in stock. If any item is not in stock we will contact you within one working day of receiving your order.

Coral delivery.
Delivery time for corals is pre 12:00 for the majority of the UK. A person must be present to sign for the delivery on the arranged delivery date. If no person is present to sign for coral deliveries then all guarantees of healthy coral delivery, replacements or refunds are nullified.

Non-coral delivery
All non-coral delivery items that are sent by Royal Mail recorded delivery require a signature. If no person is present on delivery to provide a signature, Royal Mail will leave a card and return the item to their sorting office. The card can be used to arrange a redelivery time with Royal Mail or collect the item from the Royal Mail sorting office. Royal Mail will hold the item at their sorting office for 14days after which the undelivered item will be returned to us. We will then attempt to contact you to arrange a redelivery. Redelivery may incur a further delivery charge. If we are unable to contact you then we will refund the cost of the products. Postage and packing will not be refunded.

Change of Delivery Address
The delivery address that you provide on your order is the address we will deliver to. If you wish to change the delivery address please ensure that you notify us in writing prior to despatch.

Please note that to change a delivery address once your order has been dispatched is chargeable.

Cancellation Policy
The contract between us is only created once we send you the products you ordered and not before.
You have the right to cancel an order within 14 working days of receipt. You must return the goods to us in new and unused condition in line with our Returns Policy. We must receive the goods within 21 days of the notice of cancellation during which time you are responsible for any loss or damage. Once received in new and unused condition we will refund the purchase price less the original carriage and packing charges.
Corals must be returned in the condition in which they are received. If you are returning corals to us then you must contact us on the day of delivery and provide photographs of the corals in their shipping containers on the day of delivery.

Replacement Policy
If faulty non-coral goods are received you must notify us within 7 working days. Where possible replacement parts will be dispatched and where not possible we will ask you to return the goods to us in line with our Returns Policy. Once we have verified the damage we will supply replacements as required. Where goods returned to us are in good working order we are not able to refund your return postage costs and we reserve the right to deduct our original postage cost and a restocking fee from any refund.

Manufacturers Guarantees
We work with the manufactures to ensure their guarantees are honoured and we use best endeavours to resolve issues within the warranty period. We can only refund postage costs under the manufactures guarantee if the goods are returned to us within 7 days of the original purchase. We can only offer replacements parts or replacement goods when authorized by the manufacture. Under no circumstances should goods be returned to us without priori approval.

Returns Policy
If there is a problem with any coral delivered you must contact us on the day of delivery and provide photographs of the coral still in it’s shipping bag by 6pm on the day of delivery. If necessary we may also request a photo of the coral be sent to us out of the shipping bag so that we can ascertain the condition of the coral. Claims without photographs will not be considered. We may ask you to return the coral at our own discretion. If a claim is upheld then we will either send you a replacement or refund the value of the coral.

Goods have to be returned to us at your expense. It is important that you obtain proof of posting as the goods are your responsibility until they are received by us. We can only refund postage costs if non-coral goods are returned within 7 days of purchase under the Replacement Policy. You should use the cheapest postage method available as we are not able to refund the cost of any special delivery service. We cannot refund postage for good returned for any other reason and we reserve the right to deduct our original postage cost and a restocking fee from any refund applicable.

Pricing

We make every effort to ensure the prices on our website are correct but we can sometimes make a mistake. If we notice a price mistake before we dispatch something you have ordered, we will ask if you want to pay the correct price or cancel your order. If we do not hear from you, we will cancel your order.
We reserve the right to change prices listed without notice. All orders for products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse to supply to any individual or company.

Security Policy
Our site is regularly validated as complying with the PCI Data Security standard, so you can buy from us with confidence. We retain customer information solely to fulfil orders and to ensure successful delivery. Customer information is not disclosed to any other third parties. Cookies, where used, are only to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket. Credit card transactions are handled via secure services provided by Globalpay/HSBC and Paypal. We ensure security of data transmitted using SSL, which encrypts information during transmission. Reefworks complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) mandate and is registered with a Qualified Security Assesor (QSA).

We reserve the right to charge £5.00 per day for any unauthorised use or copying of text or imagery on this website.
